FAI YOUTHS INTER-LEAGUE CUP COMPETITION
CARLOW & DISTRICT FOOTBALL LEAGUE vs NORTH DUBLIN S.L.
After a great start to this years FAI Youths Inter League Competition, beating NECL 5-2 in our first game, Carlow can guarantee qualification to the knock-out stages with a win over the North Dublin Schoolboys League, who will be looking to bounce back from a 4-0 defeat to Wexford in their first game. Having lost out narrowly to NDSL in last years competition with a very young team, Carlow will be looking to go one better this year, with what is virtually the same squad of players. This should be a good game of football between two teams who play an attractive passing game, but with qualification to the next stage, the prize for Carlow, three points must be their main objective from this game. Current cup holders Wexford, travel to play NECL knowing that an away win will also see them through to the knockout stage. The final round of games will be played weekending 21st December, when Carlow will travel to Ferrycarrig Park to face Wexford. PANEL:
